About Us

Mission & Vision
The mission of the NH Providers Association is to represent its members in advancing substance use prevention, treatment and recovery through public policy, leadership, professional development, and quality member services.
We envision a New Hampshire with an all encompassing continuum of care that successfully addresses the public health impacts of substance use

History
The NH Alcohol and other Drug Service Providers Association grew out of a desire among alcohol and other drug service providers to have a voice in the policy decisions affecting the prevention and treatment systems in the state. Our formation was proactive rather than reactive to a specific issue or situation. The organization was incorporated as a non-profit in August of 2004. According to our founding documents, the original intent of the NH Providers Association was to present a strong unified voice for members, provide information sharing and best practice opportunities, educate the public on alcohol and other drug issues, and provide ongoing support to our members. We are thrilled to be able to say that we have been steadfast in staying true to those intents for the last decade and look forward to continued success.
