The re-authorization of Medicaid Expansion en sured that 50,000 NH residents would maintain health coverage. However, the legislation does not simply continue the current program. Instead, it crea tes the Granite Advantage Health Care Program, which has many practical dif ferences for providers and for patients. Hear from healthcare attorneys abo ut the move from the Premium Assistance Program to Managed Care Organizatio ns and the implementation of community engagement or work requirements will affect patients and service providers alike.
This training will be u seful for organizations billing health insurance as well as service provide rs working with the Medicaid Expansion population who will need to understa nd patients' rights and responsibilities under the new program. It will be valuable for prevention, treatment, and recovery providers seeking more inf ormation on how to assist their communities in understanding the changes, a nd navigating the community engagement requirements.
